1.At beginning of search/end of search require an end date at all times. Apply for 1 year (default end date). Currently, there is not an option to add an End Date at the beginning of the search. DNC would automatically be toggled with an End Date of one year when a project is opened.
2.DNC should be automatically applied at the close of a search with an updated End date of 1 year from Close.
3. Limit the End date Calendar (Ideally, the calendar does not go beyond 3 years, for example).
This could a be customizable firm setting.
Ideally, Firm sets all projects to Do Not Contact on creation. Configuration to automatically toggle do not contact for one year upon project creation would simplify the process by applying it automatically. Right now, the process is manual and can be neglected.

Additionally, an end date on the DNC status must be required. It is required to put an end date at project close, why is it not mandatory on the project open or when editing the company mid-project? Because it is not required in every case, 200 companies have a null end date and will have the status forever.
