Why are we getting email task reminders every day, even for tasks that are due several weeks out? It would be more useful if we could set when we want to start getting the email reminders for due tasks, for example one week before due date.

We recently shipped Task Notifications where users can set their personal notification preferences in the User Profile. This can include In App, Browser Push, and Email notifications at the cadence you specify.
