See the explanation below from DaMarr. We have candidates who fit multiple client requirements and we want the clients to see some general information on each candidate. We thought "pinning" Overview notes was the answer but unfortunately it is not. We now need to go in and copy the exact same note for each client in multiple projects. Very unfortunate, time consuming, prone to error, etc. Thank you for your consideration.
Karen,
There is currently no availability for a client and user to see a note across all projects for one candidate. This is something you can add to our Ideas Portal. Our Development team reviews these frequently and make considerations for updates.
Looking at the provided information, if the note is created in the Overview space for Ellen Carnahan then you will be able to see the note Pinned in the Candidate Panel, but this note will only be present in the Project FASB/FASAC. You will not be able to see this in any other project Ellen is in.
The attached image (FAF) shows that the pinned note is not made visible for client view. In this instance the note can not be made visible to clients because the note is "filed in" the person record (FAF2), and person records are for firm users only.
If the note is "filed in" a project then you will be able to make it visible to the client that is on that same project. That is the same thing you are seeing with Lorin Crenshaw's note (FAF3). Changing the "Note Filed In" to the project FASB/FASAC will make the note show in the candidates tab as well.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Thank you,
DaMarr
