Currently, phone number formatting looks like a US formatting and is not suited for any other global phone numbers.
Perhaps a dropdown to select the country code and format for the phone number (like most global websites have) would be a good solution

The current formatting option for an international number is not ideal as it displays:
331235550000
Ideally, the formatting could be improved to:
+33-123-555-0000
Right now, there's not even the ability to include a "+" to indicate a different country, which makes the phone number look jumbled and could be confused as an data entry error.
